Call for Nominations: OACA President and Board Members
Dear OACA Members,
As a valued member of the Olympia Area Chinese Association(OACA), we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking nominationsfor the positions of President and Board Members to lead our organization inits mission of promoting Chinese cultural traditions and fostering culturalexchanges within our community.
Founded originally as the Olympia Area Chinese Fellowship(OACF), OACA is a non-profit, non-partisan community organization dedicated tosupporting the Chinese community in Olympia, Washington, and surrounding areas.Our objectives include providing opportunities for learning Chinese languageand culture, facilitating networking among members, organizing celebrations formajor traditional Chinese holidays, and promoting cultural exchanges betweenChinese culture and other cultures in the local Olympia area.
As we continue to grow and expand our impact, we are seekingpassionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to advancing our missionand guiding our organization to new heights. Serving on the OACA Board presentsa unique opportunity to make a positive difference in our community andcontribute to the preservation and promotion of Chinese cultural heritage.
Roles and Responsibilities:
President: The President will provide strategic leadership,oversee the organization's operations, and represent OACA in communityengagements and partnerships.
Board Members: Board Members will actively participate indecision-making processes, contribute to the development of programs andinitiatives, and support OACA's mission through their expertise and dedication.
