Announcement – Calling for Youth Volunteer

Dear friends:

Do you have youth at home who is looking for meaningful extra curriculum activities?  We have some unique opportunities at the Olympia Area Chinese Association.  In order to hold the Chinese Spring Festival Gala on Jan 18, OACA is recruiting youth volunteers to participate in lion dance performances, evening performance hosting, fundraising, and setting up the venue.  In particular, we are assembling the lion dance team.  We welcome youth from junior or senior high school to participate.  Coaching and prop will be provided.  This is an excellent opportunity to learn Chinese tradition and custom, to practice public speaking, and to engage the community by service.  Please call 360-570-8385 or write to Board@OlympiaChinese.Org
