Register a School Class
Olympia Area Chinese School is run by Olympia Area Chinese Association (OACA).
OACA is a non-profit (501(c)(3)) Voluntary service organization. The tuition we received is
used to rent class rooms from church, buy insurance, organize activities, pay a very limited amount
to teachers, give a Luck Money or Red Envelope
to young students at the end of Chinese New Year celebration party, and etc.

School Information
| Classes: |
Math Class (2nd Grade ONLY)
This class primarily teaches kids math and logic with fun activities, such as building with Lego bricks, watching videos, etc.
to help building the capability to resolve the Quantitative Battery and Nonverbal Battery problems that are known as CogAT.
Additionally, they will learn the 9x9 multiplication table in the Chinese style that can help them easily and quickly remember.
It is a very good age for the 2nd grade students to be able to recite the 9x9 multiplication table permanently.
It will be very useful for them in the future. |

Chinese Class (Adult & Youth) |
There are different classes from beginner to high level. The students can choose
either Traditional Chinese
or
Simplified Chinese.
Besides learning PinYin (how to pronounce), Radicals (how the Chinese character is built), Reading, Speaking, and Writing,
the youth students will have an opportunity to join the Washington State Chinese Language & Talent Competition each year.

Chinese KungFu/TaiChi Class
These Chinese KungFu and TaiChi classes are provided by Olympia KungFu & TaiChi Club (OKTC).
The fees and class location are different from the classes listed above. The detailed information is described below.
Kung Fu (Chinese: 功夫; pinyin: Gong Fu), which is called Chinese martial arts or WuShu (武術),
is a number of fighting styles that have developed over the centuries in China. For the detailed information about KungFu,

The regular price for the KungFu or TaiChi class is $20 per hour per person. As a member of Olympia Area Chinese Association (OACA),
your discounted rate will be only $15 per hour per person.
In order to avoid the conflicting with Chinese class, the location and time are set as below:

for Traditional Chinese
and another is for

Because Chinese School is a Community School, there will be Neither prorated tuition nor tuition
refund. |
