We have good news for senior members!

Title:【Evergreen Health Exercise】

Date/Time:Every Wednesday starting 11/18, 4:00-5:00 PM

This exercise class combines Qi Gong, Luk Tung Kuen, 8 pieces of Brocades (Ba Duan Jin), and 24-style Tai Chi that guide you to relax and calm down, and to build internal strength with breathing and mindfulness.  It activates all parts of the body including joints/muscles/ligaments and cardiopulmonary system.  It keeps you agile and healthy.  This set of exercises include soothing movement as well as stillness.  It is gentle and elegant, especially suitable for middle-aged and elderly people.


Instructor’s background:

Wendy Chen is a retired Charge Nurse of vasculocardiology department with vast experiences.  She loves dancing, singing, and cooking.  She came to US as a young foreign student.  She has been married and raised three outstanding sons in a happy marriage.  Determined to be self-reliant, she embraces life and lives actively.  She learned online from world champion of 24-style Tai Chi master Qiu Huifang and learned 8 pieces of Brocades from national champion Zhang Qi.  She also learned Luk Tung Kuen of Singapore from a priest.

常青健身操的运动结合了气功,拉功,八段锦,24式太极拳等方法,除了松静,锻炼内功配合呼吸& 意念,让身体的各个部位都运动起来,能舒筋活络,保持身体灵活和健康。这套操动作舒缓,动静兼修,温和优雅,尤其适合中老年人。


分享讲师:

Wendy Chen, 经验丰富的退休心血管科护士主管,爱好舞蹈,唱歌和美食。在最青春的年华来到美国留学,夫妻二人同心同德,抚养了三个出色的儿子。为了预防将来成为孩子们的负担,热爱生活,勤勉积极,在网上跟世界冠军邱慧芳学习24式太极拳,网课学习全国冠军张琦的八段锦,也通过一位牧师学到了新加坡的六通拳。
