2019 OACA Early Summer Outdoor Event

The 2019 early summer outdoor event was held at the Priest Point Park on June 22. More than 120 OACA members and community friends attended the event.

The event started with a causal social time at 10 am, followed by the formal lunch at 11. OACA ordered a large variety of food including spring rolls, fried rice,fried noodles, pizza, roast ducks, fruits, cookies, cakes, and provided bottled water and fruit pouches for kids. Many families also brought homemade food for sharing. During the lunch time, the OACA president Haisheng Mou made a few announcements about the recent changes to the board, recognized and awarded certificates to Ms. Wendy Chen, Principal Shyu, and Mr. Mingta Lin for their recent contributions to the community and Chinese School. After that, the most fun part of the event started: game and raffle drawing time. Everyone, whether a grown up or a kid, really enjoyed these games. For those who were so lucky to win the raffle prizes, big smiles were on their faces.
