Culture Day at Olympia Area Chinese School

As usual, the Olympia Area Chinese School has a Chinese Culture activity at the end of the school year. Principal Shue-lan Shyu invited 張娟熹 (Ms. Zhang) who works for LEGACY MULTI CULTURAL & EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CENTER. She and her team, from Seattle, has voluntarily to helped us for many years.

Vice Principal Bryan Lu not only provided his house for the teacher and volunteer training, but also served a delicious lunch.

Ms. Zhang training the teachers and volunteers.

This program included presentations, demonstrations, flower making, ZongZi making, tea serving, cake making, XiangBao (sachet) making, and Chinese knot. This activity was open to anyone who wanted to learn Chinese culture. Many Chinese school students and their friends from the public, along with parents participated in this activity.

Huge THANKS to our principals, teachers, and volunteers!!!
