OACA 2018 Mid Autumn Festival Celebration

On September 22, OACA and many families from Olympia area attended the 2018 Mid Autumn Festival organized by Federal Way Chinese Village. The event attracted about 250 people from nearby Olympia, Tacoma, Federal Way and Puyallup Chinese communities, and organizations including OACA, Washington State Hunanese Association, and Washington Chinese Television. In addition to the food each family brought, the event also provided moon cake and a large variety of other delicious food and snacks. After the dinner, performers from Olympia and other participating areas delivered a fabulous show featuring the Mid-Autumn Festival for the audience. This was a special night and it has left the whole audience with unforgettable memories. The OACA board also learned a lot of experience from our neighbors in organizing such events.

We also appreciate the help from our current and former board members including Haisheng Mou, Gang Ma, Guorong Liu, and Olympia Chinese School principal Sheue-Lan Shyu. Thank you all for your contributions to this successful event.
