2018 Chinese Language Writing Competition

The 2018 Northwest Association of Chinese Language Schools' writing competition was held at Interlake High School in Bellevue on December 8. Seventeen students from Olympia Chinese School attended this event together with other contenders. They participated in word recognizing, pencil handwriting, calligraphy writing, and picture writing at different age levels.

Congratulations to the following students who won an award in their competitions:

Kathrine Zhang (1^stplace at pencil handwriting level 1), Benjamin Ge (2^nd place at pencil handwriting level 1), Maegan Shen (2nd place at picture writing), Audrey Shen (4th place at pencil handwriting level 2). 

We would like to thank Principal Shyu and Teacher Lai for their dedication and extra time spent to coach and help these students. We would also like to thank all the students who participated and their parents who encouraged and helped them make this event.

2018年西北区华文学校写字比赛于12月8日在Bellevue的Interlake高中举行。奥林匹亚地区有17位学生参与此次比赛。参加的比赛项目包括各年级段的铅笔写字，毛笔字，以及看图认字。

恭喜以下几位奥林匹亚地区的学生获得各自项目的奖项：

Kathrine Zhang (低年级铅笔写字第一名), Benjamin Ge (低年级铅笔写字第二名), Maegan Shen (看图写字组第二名), Audrey Shen (高年级铅笔写字第四名).
