Gourmet Kitchen Class Notice 12/05 - Artisan Bread

Dear OACA Members,

We have good news for food lovers! !  This no-kneading European-style bread baked in a cast iron pan has a simple and classic appearance.  The skin is very crispy, and the inside is soft, strong, and elastic, and it emits a mellow wheat fragrance....  It is simple to make, this one is dedicated to bread lovers !

Today’s Dish:【Artisan Bread (without Kneading)】

Speaker’s background:

Yuhan Hou, from Singapore, came to the United States in 1976, hobbies: cooking, baking, cycling


Ingredients:

1. 500 g flour

2. 375g water

3. 10 g salt

4. 2 g yeast


Kitchenware:

1. Mixing bowl

2. Cast iron pot or high temperature clay pot (you don’t have to have)
