Oly School, Gourmet Kitchen Zoom Meeting Link – Sat 11/7 Shanghai steamed sticky-rice open dumpling

Dear OACA Members,

The first Gourmet Kitchen class is coming!

Today’s Dish: [Shanghai steamed sticky-rice open dumpling]

Date/Time: Saturday Nov 7, 4-5 PM

Instructor Ms Dai Yan, previously an OACA board member, a devoted volunteer.  She is a seasoned foodie with a hobby in cooking.  Her specialty is Shanghai cuisine and appetizers. She likes to try exotic dishes and to share and to learntogether.

Ingredients:

1.     Sticky rice, rice, mushroom, dicedpork or minced pork, general purpose flour, dark soy sauce, light soy source, white sugar, green onion, corn starch

Preparation:

1.     Mix rice and sticky rice 50/50, soak in water for 30 minutes. Cook in less water (or steam) into harder rice. 

2.     Make dough using warm water, let it knead for 30 minutes.

分享老师:戴衍, OACA 前任理事,热心公益人士,资深吃货,爱好烹飪,擅长上海菜及小吃,喜欢尝试各种风味的佳肴,更喜欢美食分享与厨艺切磋

准备原料:糯米,大米,香菇,肉丁(或肉末),普通面粉,老抽,生抽,白砂糖,葱,生粉

步骤

1.    糯米大米个一半,浸泡30分钟,少水煮(或蒸)成略硬的米饭。

2.    提前30分钟用温水揉面并醒发

以上两步骤请在开课前完成!!!
